How to make Toffee sauce
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan, stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Simmer over medium-low heat until the sauce has thickened slightly.

- The sauce will thicken as it cools.
- Too thick? Pour in a little more cream and give it a whisk.

The sauce can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Toffee Sauce
Ingredients
- 300 ml thickened cream heavy cream
- 50 g salted butter cubed
- 90 g dark brown sugar
- 110 g light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

- Once the butter has melted, stir the mixture to incorporate then continue to simmer over medium-low heat for 2 minutes or until you achieve your desired consistency (see my notes).
- Serve warm.
Notes
- The sauce will thicken as it cools.
- If it's a bit thicker than you would like just add a little more cream.
