Mars Bar Slice - a super easy no-bake condensed milk slice with melted Mars Bars mixed into the biscuit base and topped with Caramilk chocolate.
I do like a Mars Bar, in fact, it's up there with my favourite things of the "bar" variety. So a Mars Bar Slice? Of course! This no-bake condensed milk slice uses melted Mars Bars in the biscuit base and has a layer of melted Caramilk chocolate on top for good measure. All the good things, and it sets in the fridge! You're welcome.
For my version of this classic sweet treat made from the caramel nougat chocolate combo that is the iconic Mars Bar, I haven't gone down the usual puffed rice cereal/rice bubbles/rice krispies route.
Instead of a crunchy style base, I have opted for thick, chewy, fudgy goodness that comes with a condensed milk and biscuit crumb base. The hardest part for me is waiting for it to set!

- vegetable oil
*Please see the recipe card below for exact quantities and detailed instructions
How to make this recipe
- Crush the biscuits in a food processor, then place crumbs into a large bowl.
- Place the condensed milk, butter, vanilla, and chopped Mars Bars in a small saucepan.
- Then melt together over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Add condensed milk mixture to the crushed biscuits and mix to combine.
- Firmly press the base mixture into a greased and lined tin.
- Place Caramilk chocolate into a bowl along with the vegetable oil.
- Melt in the microwave until smooth.
- Pour melted Caramilk evenly over the base and allow the finished slice to set in the fridge.
Top tips
- If you don't have a food processor to crush the biscuits just put them into a sturdy plastic bag and give them a good bash with a rolling pin.
- It's still important to grease and line your tin even though we aren't baking as such, this is to help the slice come out of the tin when it's set. If you are still having difficulty getting it out just sit the base of the tin in hot water for a few seconds and it should come right out.
- As with any no-bake slice, one of the advantages is that you don't need a baking tin to make it in. If you don't have a baking tin of the right size, just use something else such as a plastic container like tupperware etc.
- The vegetable oil is combined with the Caramilk chocolate so that it's easier to slice (and eat) without cracking. You could substitute coconut oil if you prefer.
Serving suggestions and ideas for add-ins
- I used Caramilk chocolate (a brand of caramelised white chocolate) as the topping, but you could use milk chocolate if you prefer or if it isn't available.
- I sliced up an extra Mars Bar and placed the slices evenly on top of the melted chocolate before this went into the fridge to set. Doing this before the topping sets means they will stick better. This is also totally optional, feel free to leave them off if you like.
- You could also decorate the top with Maltesers, or maybe Rolo chocolates in keeping with the chocolate and caramel theme.
