My Pesto Dip recipe is rich and creamy, full of flavour and makes entertaining a breeze!

With only 3 ingredients, this easy appetizer takes only 2 minutes to mix up. You might spend more time finding the crackers in the cupboard and putting them in a bowl!

This pesto dip recipe is a great example of why I love pesto. It's versatile and a great way to add tonnes of flavour in an instant. Plus, it's easy to make and store in the fridge, ready to pull out whenever you need it.

Top tips for the best result

    • Using full-fat sour cream (like I have) will give you a richer, thicker dip than using a low-fat option, but with more calories, of course!

    Flavour variations

I have used traditional basil pesto in this creamy pesto dip recipe, so the finished dip will be full of the flavours of garlic, basil, parmesan cheese and pine nuts.

You can completely change the taste of this dip by picking a different pesto option:

    • rocket pesto (arugula)
    • sun-dried tomato pesto
    • red pepper pesto (capsicum)
    • pistachio pesto (without pine nuts)
    • spinach pesto

What to serve with pesto dip

    • veggies like carrot or celery sticks
    • pita chips
    • crackers
    • make crostini using sliced baguette (warning - these are addictive!)

    Storage

Store this pesto dip in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, then give it a mix before serving.

    Not suitable for freezing.
