How to make this recipe
- Place chocolate and sweetened condensed milk in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Melt in 30 second bursts, stirring between each.
- Once chocolate has melted, mix well to completely combine.
- Pour the fudge mixture into a greased and lined baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Allow to set in the fridge (or start eating straight away - still tastes awesome!).
Top tips
- Greasing and lining your baking dish/pan will make it easier for you to get your set fudge out of the pan.
- I recommend lining with baking/parchment paper rather than foil, as the foil tends to tear easily when it comes time to turn it out.
Stove-top directions
- Combine the chocolate and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan and melt together on the stove over low to medium heat.
- Stir until everything is combined and the chocolate is melted.
- Then add cooked fudge to a greased and lined tin as per the recipe instructions.
Variations
- Add a splash of vanilla.
- Once everything is melted together, add some chopped nuts like walnuts or peanuts.
- A drop or two of mint essence will turn this into choc mint fudge.
- Add some sprinkles on top for a fun look.
