Top tips for the best result

    • Once your baked goods have come out of the oven, let them cool before drizzling with this glaze.
    • If you would like more of a thick frosting this recipe is more suitable.
    • The cream cheese needs to be at room temperature otherwise you will have lumps in your finished glaze.

    Variation ideas

    • A splash of maple syrup.
    • Add a pinch of cinnamon.
    • Use vanilla bean paste instead of extract to get those fancy little specs of vanilla bean through the glaze.

    What to use it on

    • I like to drizzle this glaze on muffins, and then sometimes I add sprinkles for a fun twist.
    • Also great on things like these cinnamon scones.
    • Just about any type of cake.
    • The tangy cream cheese taste matches well with carrot cake.
    • Cinnamon rolls or scrolls.

    Frequently asked questions
