    Marie Rose Sauce is a deliciously creamy seafood sauce that is quick and easy to make at home in just 2 minutes.

    Traditionally used as the classic prawn cocktail sauce, this Marie rose sauce recipe can also be used as a dipping sauce for french fries or as a sauce for burgers or spread on sandwiches.

    • tomato sauce (tomato ketchup)
    • Worcestershire sauce
    • lemon juice
    • Tabasco sauce
    • salt
    • paprika - for garnish

    How to make this recipe

    1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, tomato sauce, Worcestershire and lemon juice.
    2. Mix well to combine.

    Top tips for the best result

    • Go easy with the Tabasco sauce (just a drop or two!) if you aren't a fan of spice, it's a very hot sauce. You can always add more after you've tasted it.

    Storage

    The sauce will keep for up to 3 days in an airtight container in the fridge.

    The sauce is not suitable for freezing.

    Ingredients

    • ½ cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce (tomato ketchup)
    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • dash of Tabasco sauce to taste
    • fine salt to taste
