Easy Gochujang Mayo sauce is so delicious you will want to slather this flavour packed mayonnaise sauce on just about everything!
With only 4 ingredients, gochujang mayo comes together super fast - you can be dipping all your favourite finger foods in about 2 minutes tops!
So, what is gochujang? It's a dark red paste made with fermented rice, hot chili pepper, garlic and salt which originated in Korea.
This gochujang mayonnaise is made by combining hot and slightly sweet gochujang paste with rich and creamy mayonnaise.
Another thing I really love about these homemade sauces is that it's easy to control the level of spiciness to cater for lots of different tastes and heat preferences.
The addition of kewpie mayonnaise in this gochujang dipping sauce really balances out the spice level.
If you are concerned about the heat level, it's best to build up the level gradually by adding the gochujang in a smaller amount at first if you like.
It's always easier to add a little more heat than to try and tone it down if you find it too spicy.
