Top tips for the best result

    • Scraping the base of the pot to dislodge any slightly stuck grains of rice just before you put the lid will help stop the rice from sticking to the base as it cooks.

    Substitutions

    • Sub chicken stock/broth for vegetable broth.
    • If you only have salted butter available, reduce the amount of cooking salt you add to the water then taste after you stir in the butter and adjust accordingly.
    • Switch the chopped chives with other green herbs like chopped fresh parsley.

    Storage

Once cool, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 - 4 days.
