Baked brie with fig jam is the perfect easy holiday appetizer. With only 4 ingredients, it tastes amazing and has minimal prep time which makes it great for entertaining.
Place the wheel of brie in the middle of a small cast iron frying pan (or similar) mine is 12cm/4½" in diameter (base measurement).
200 g wheel of brie cheese
Spread the fig jam mixture evenly over the top surface of the brie.
Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, or until the brie is melted and oozy.
Serve immediately.

Notes
Sub for mini cast-iron skillet: a low-sided ramekin or dish of similar diameter (oven safe).
If you would like to make the top easier to dig into, score a crisscross pattern into the top surface of the rind with a small sharp knife - totally optional.
Optional reheating: If your skillet/ramekin isn't microwave-safe, you can line it with baking/parchment paper so that you can lift the cheese out and transfer it to a microwave-safe container for reheating.
