Marie Rose Sauce

A delicious, creamy seafood sauce that is a perfect match for a classic prawn cocktail, and also great on burgers, fries and sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce (tomato ketchup)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • dash of Tabasco sauce to taste
  • fine salt to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients (except Tabasco and salt) in a bowl and stir to combine.
    ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon tomato sauce (tomato ketchup), 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Add Tabasco and salt to taste.
    dash of Tabasco sauce, fine salt

  • Start with just a drop or two of Tabasco sauce if you aren't a fan of spice, it's a very hot sauce. You can always add more after you've tasted it.
