  • 1-2 tablespoon prepared horseradish cream
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ teaspoon fresh back pepper + extra for garnish
  • fine cooking salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl combine lemon juice and garlic powder.
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Mix to allow the garlic powder to rehydrate a little.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well to combine, adjusting the amount of horseradish (if needed) and adding salt to taste.
½ cup mayonnaise, 1-2 tablespoon prepared horseradish cream, 1 teaspoon finely chopped chives, ¼ teaspoon fresh back pepper, fine cooking salt
  • Garnish with extra chives and black pepper.

Notes

  • Be conservative with your first addition of horseradish, it has a strong spicy taste and you can always add more later.
