Sour Cream Sauce

It's so easy to make sour cream sauce at home. All you need is sour cream, fresh chives, a few common pantry spices and a splash of milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream I used low fat
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives plus extra for garnish
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • 2 - 3 tablespoons milk (as needed) see my notes

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, chives and salt.
    1 cup sour cream, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives, ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • Stir well to incorporate.
  • Add milk gradually until you reach your desired consistency.
    2 - 3 tablespoons milk (as needed)
  • Sprinkle with extra chives and serve.
