Grease and line a 20cm x 30cm (8" x 12") tin and set aside.
Place condensed milk (395g), chocolate (180g), and salted butter (100g) in a large bowl and microwave until melted, then mix to combine.
Add crushed biscuits (250g), desiccated coconut (50g), and rice bubbles (40g) to the chocolate mixture and mix again to combine.
Press base mixture evenly into the greased and lined tin and smooth the top.
Topping
Melt together remaining chocolate (300g) and vegetable oil (2 tbsp) in the microwave in 30 second bursts until melted and mix to combine.
Pour melted chocolate over base and place in the fridge to set.
Notes
You can crush the biscuits in a food processor or just put the biscuits into a sturdy plastic bag and give them a good bash with a rolling pin. I like to leave some bigger chunks for extra crunch.
It's still important to grease and line your tin even though we aren't baking this hedgehog slice, this is to help it come out of the tin when it's set. If you are still having difficulty getting it out of the tin, just sit the base of the tin in hot water for a few seconds and it should come straight out.
As with any no-bake slice, one of the advantages is that you don't actually need a baking tin to make it in. If you don't have a baking pan or tin that's a suitable size, just use something else such as a plastic container like Tupperware etc. That being said, you could also go a bit bigger or smaller because there is no cooking time to consider.
The vegetable oil is combined with the chocolate for the icing so that it's easier to slice (and eat) without cracking. You could substitute coconut oil if you prefer.
