Bring a large pot of water to the boil, add the beans then bring back to the boil
Boil beans for 5-8 mins - depending on your preferred texture
Once beans are cooked to your liking then drain immediately into a sieve or a colander, return the beans to the now dry pot, add lemon juice, zest, salt & pepper to taste & serve

This might seem like an obvious tip - but if you are using the same lemon for the juice & zest - zest it first!!!
