Dijonnaise

My recipe for homemade dijonnaise combines Dijon mustard and mayonnaise in one yummy condiment. It makes a great dipping sauce and is perfect for burgers or as a sandwich spread.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice plus more to taste
  • a pinch of fine salt plus more to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and lemon juice.
    ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice, 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Stir together until well incorporated.
  • Add salt to taste along with more lemon juice as needed.

  • Feel free to increase the amount of mustard to mayonnaise in order to get the best ratio for you. As both of our main ingredients in this recipe are store-bought, they can vary in taste between brands.
  • The same goes for lemon juice and salt, go gradually and taste test as you go.
