Lamb Seasoning (With Video)

This easy lamb seasoning mix is made with store cupboard herbs and spices to give heaps of extra flavour to your next lamb dinner recipe!

Ingredients

  • teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon dried mint
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • fine salt to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients (except salt) to a bowl.
    1½ teaspoon dried rosemary, ½ teaspoon dried thyme, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon dried oregano, ¼ teaspoon dried mint, ¼ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Mix well to combine, the use (adding salt to taste) or store.
    fine salt to taste

Notes

  • You could substitute ⅛ teaspoon of ground cumin for the cumin seeds.
  • If you store this seasoning for later use, make sure to give it a good shake before using it.
  • You could make this seasoning mixture into more of a rub by giving it a grind up for a few minutes in a pestle and mortar. This will give you more of a powdery texture instead of the whole dried leaves which will act as more of a dry rub style of seasoning.
